The College promotes social engagement alongside pedagogical and social entrepreneurship, in collaboration with civil society organizations in Jerusalem and throughout Israel. Each year, students contribute thousands of volunteer hours to these organizations.
Activities include:
Development of social games adapted for students with intellectual disabilities, in collaboration with Bezalel Academy
Support for schools serving children with disabilities, in cooperation with management and pedagogical staff
Tutoring hospitalized children
Beit Midrash–Madrasa: joint study of Jewish and Muslim texts
Training and mentoring programs for National Service participants
Joint learning initiatives between College students and teenagers from the House of Wheels organization
Social-educational projects in Kenya
Development of an application connecting students and parents of children with complex disabilities
Support for at-risk youth and school dropouts through informal education programs
Training teacher assistants with disabilities as support staff in kindergartens
Training transportation escorts and providing professional trainers for special education transportation
